There is always an interesting tension between sensing and understanding in my life. Sensing is important to connect with people, yourself and God. At the same time understanding is important to make the right decisions and shape your life. At a young age I have met Jesus Christ within that tension.

I was eight years old when I met Jesus Christ and decided to follow him. I am married to my wife Marlous and we have two teenage children. We are part of the pastor team in the Pentecost church Oase Arnhem and direct in meeting God, reaching out to each other and to the people in the neighborhood and beyond. It is the balance between spiritual and physical practice that gives me joie de vivre and in this way I enjoy all the lovely relationships God has given me.
